Curtis Cabinets is a small family business that was started in October 1986 by Jerry Curtis and his son Mark. The original shop was a little 400 square foot building that served the purpose for a few months and then was moved to a new 2,400 square foot facility in January of 1987 were it remains to this day on family property. Jerry and Mark have strived to build their customers cabinets of the best quality for a fair price. Using only solid hardwoods and quality plywoods they have remained true to their promise of never using particle boards or melamine in their cabinets. Their work over the past 27 years can be seen in many larger homes in the Charlotte Metro area and as far away as the Asheville area and the upstate of South Carolina. Utilizing the skills learned over many years in the construction industry, Jerry decided to leave the day to day commute of building homes and start something that would allow him to work close to home in a more relaxing atmosphere yet still connect with the customers. Mark spent his last few years of high school working in a cabinet shop learning the trade and then made the transition to the start up of the family business after graduation. Together Jerry and Mark have built a well known name and reputation for treating customers like friends rather than just one time clients and this has brought many customers back to them when they made their decision to remodel or build another home in the future.
